HL Display has a long track record in sustainable development.
With our roots in the Scandinavian countries it has been natural for HL Display to focus on the environmental effects of our business. The largest production facilities were certified to the ISO 14001 environmental management standard already in the late 1990's.
As the business grew, and became more international, we also learnt the importance of respecting the value of different backgrounds. Today our business day starts in the far corners of Asia and ends in Western Europe. And this has become a strength of the HL Display we know today.
Working in a multi-cultural environment means adapting to different business conditions, depending on where we are in the world. But we never adapt on one issue - corruption. Corruption is probably one of the most devastating problems for the world's economy. We strive to promote ethical business wherever we are. And we expect our business partners to set the same standards as we do.
HL Display has always had high ethical standards, both in our business relations and in our relations to each other, within the company. But we are also a rapidly growing company, where it is difficult to exercise an absolute control on all activities all over the world. This is why we have decided to create a Whistle blower function. This function allows all employees to give immediate feed-back to management on actual or perceived wrong doings within the group.
